Many of you know I love fashion and have from a young age. I am sure that my mother would have plenty of stories that included me carrying a LARGE RED PATENT LEATHER purse around the neighborhood. At the age of 16 I became a visual merchandiser for Ralph Lauren, joined DEX (Delta Epsilon Chi) and competed and placed nationally in fashion design and merchandising. This landed me a lucrative scholarship to attend a renowned fashion design school in California. Instead I chose to finish my degree at University of Utah in Consumer Science. Now as a financially conscious mother of a busy little boy I want to share my tips, secrets and CRAZY love of fashion with you. Fashion Cents is about many different aspects of being fashionable.
